Now Trump wants to make it HARDER to vote if your name doesn’t exactly match on every doc?? That hits married folks who change their names, disaster survivors who lost paperwork, and so many others. This ain’t about security—it’s suppression.

To recap: Not only is the richest man in the world attacking the poorest and most vulnerable people in the world and in our country, he also wants you to feel sorry for him while he does it.

It's weirdly difficult to remember that Trump's popular vote margin was /less/ than Hillary's in 2016. Biden got more votes in 2020 than Trump got in 2024 and Trump surrogates all under-performed in congressional races.

This is not a mandate, I don't get why it is being portrayed that way.

So to recap — troops surges to the borders both happened BEFORE the trade war threat, and there have barely been any fentanyl seizures in Canada yet he was using that as an excuse.

USAID matters. I've often disagreed with their strategy and choices, but their work saves more lives than any philanthropy can. It's a rounding error in the federal budget, and one of the best things we do as a country. To see it destroyed overnight by one unelected man is an unmitigated horror.

I have many regrets about Earth, but making humans in a wide range of colors, shapes, and temperaments is not one of them.
