It felt like a lot more than 34,000 people. I was at Obama's rally in 2008, and this seemed to me like at least half that number, which would have put it at more like 50K (Obama had 100K). It was an incredible number, whatever it was. And it really helped give me some hope. Thank you.

Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).

It was on the front page of the Denver Post this morning, as it should have been.

Nonetheless, holy shit.

What’s remarkable is that there’s hardly any real news driving this. It’s just investors belatedly realizing that Trump is who he is, and always was.

It's amazing how much the same people who mocked pre-eminent scientists during COVID are now blindly following a ketamine-fueled hustler and the teenage DOGE dorks.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

I have news for you - we aren’t taking over Gaza.

But the media and the chattering class will focus on it for a few days and Trump will have succeeded in distracting everyone from the real story - the billionaires seizing government to steal from regular people.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.

But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

For the rest of my life I will never understand how MAGA is so furious about Dr. Fauci, who saved many lives, being pardoned by President Biden, but they're thrilled about January 6th thugs, who beat cops with flagpoles, being pardoned by trump.

I hear you. I really like Bluesky, but it's taught me that sexism and imperious attitudes are alive and well among a paw-full of fellow liberals.

Musk called MAGA "contemptible fools" yesterday. And here I thought CF stood for "convicted felon." It's interesting to see the Trump camp devolve into a cannibalizing cluster f*, but it's hard to keep track of acronyms these days.

On behalf of the average US reader, I think we can manage.
