It is a low bar but it’s also stronger language than, say, Chuck Schumer has used. He’s too busy talking about health premiums.

But the reality is no other former Prez or VP has used language as strong as Cheney did against Trump (with exception of Kamala maybe). If you can show me otherwise, I’ll withdraw my statement tho. I could be mistaken.

Trump didn’t need his help to start that fire. But Cheney went further than almost any other powerful Republican to speak out against him. And he did it at a key time. That matters. He ultimately showed far more fortitude than W, or Dole or Quayle. Or even Obama.

These pundits willfully ignore the salient issue of our time which is a device in everyone’s pocket that allows disinformation to flourish with low information voters and shape their viewpoints. And the reason they ignore it is because they themselves are increasingly falling victim to it.

I agree with that. But that doesn’t mean Cuba is wrong in this instance. Right now, the US under Trump is a far greater threat to humanity than anything Cuba ever was. We ceded our moral high ground a while back. I welcome any entity willing to stand up to our villainy.

As much as you may hate Cuba, it doesn't make them the villain.
