Don't assume your audience is dumb, or lazy, or unengaged.

Make art that needs to be engaged with multiple times. Make art that takes work to engage with. Make art that's confusing.

Assume your audience is smart, diligent, and motivated.

If you're going to keep using Windows, just uninstall/don't use all native windows programs at this point.

Get notepad++ it's meant for programming but works like notepad if you don't set a (programming) language.
