Yup--I read it for the first time in university as well, and same. Impossible to describe perfection and bliss, I guess!

My major thought reading the Nuzzi article: does anyone actually like the Paradiso in the Divine Comedy? Both the Purgatorio and (of course) the Inferno are genuinely fun and worthwhile reads. I have slogged through the Paradiso twice, and maybe it's me, but it is just a slog.

We are officially reaching the point where parody and reality are indistinguishable.

The fact that the response including "tsuris" made me think the "bubba" here might also be Yiddish, but I wouldn't expect that to be capitalized, and "blowing grandma" is somehow even more disturbing.

My thinking was that it's not a huge airport, and maybe Trump's coming and goings would make operations more difficult? That's how it reads to me, but anything is possible!

Ms. Nuzzi was, and probably still is, a very good writer. I wish she would have the grace to write fiction under a pseudonym or something and not force me to contemplate any of this.
