IDAHOBIT 2025 SHOUT IT! is based in the UK, where transphobia has been running regretfully more rampant in recent years. This IDAHOBIT, I think itโs important that we remember this: Violence against one of us is violence against all of us.
To uplift the queer community, you need to fight for the people that are being attacked, even if youโre not โone of themโ. Thatโs what community means. The erosion of trans rights is another step on a dangerous path that ends at facism. If left unchallenged, it will lead to the erosion of queer rights, womenโs rights, intersex safety & racial equality, at the very least.
If you want a better world, you need to want it for everyone. Happy IDAHOBIT. Hold your friends. Love your TNBI siblings. Make your voice heard. If you want a better world, SHOUT IT!
It's IDAHOBIT. Stand with your TNBI siblings.

Text reads: What is Shout It!? Shout It! is a trans-led zine for written & visual art, created in response to the international erosion of trans rights and the rise of facism in the world. We aim to celebrate the lives and creations of trans, intersex & gender non-conforming people, and create a space for our emotions to be expressed and explored.
Text reads: Who's behind Shout It!? Shout It! is edited by: Luc Grey (any pronouns) Luc Grey is an experimental poet who uses form and theme to express and explore queerness and identity. Frankie Larsen (they/them) Frankie is a ceramics teacher & illustrator. Their practice asks what might be deemed Bad Art and seeks to celebrate those works.
Text reads: Why the name? Shout It! is a reference to a passage from Queers Read This - a pamphlet distributed at a New York pride march in June 1990. We feel it encapsulates what we believe in. SHOUT IT! Be proud. Do whatever you need to do to tear yourself away from your customary state of acceptance. Be free. Shout. In 1969, Queers fought back. In 1990, Queers say ok. Next year, will we be here?
Welcome to SHOUT IT! The trans-led zine for visual and written queer art. Now... Who are we? What's our aim?

"not unattractive" is such a good way to describe a character from another character's POV because it says so much more about the describer than the person being described like. how's the 5 layers of repression working out for you bud.
25.02.2025 09:53 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Something I love about performance is how it proves a poem's a living thing. I could read the same poem 12 times and it'd not be the same twice. Every time you've read it, every audience who's heard it, will affect it. And the poem will microadjust, too -- bloating and shrinking as you read...
