I bet. I liked riding the Lightning. I liked all the motorcycles I owned/rode - 2-valve and 4-valve Ducati twins, Triumph parallel twins and triples, Honda parallel twins and V4s, Hodakas, Husqvarnas, Aprilias, and all. BUT I never connected with Harley Davidsons. Too heavy, too antiquated, etc.

I have ridden a Buell and enjoyed it. It’s not really a HD in the chassis department, though, is it.

I have been trying to join ANTIFA but it seems there’s no way to pay my membership dues. It’s like it isn’t even an organization! Weird, because Trump said it was. Anyway, I will definitely join when I can. Would I receive a membership gift, like a George Soros coffee mug or something like that?

I love motorcycles. I always have, from birth perhaps. I currently own 2 Ducatis, a Honda, a BMW and a Husqvarna. I have owned others in my lifetime BUT never a Harley Davidson. I rode an Electra Glide once and hated everything about it. That was in 1973.

I believe in democracy, but I am wondering if an antidemocratic antidote to MAGA isn’t marginally better than this shitshow.

I am old. I have seen a lot of political shifts in my life, but this current administration inflames the basest instincts in America - race, fear, greed, insensitivity, religious insularity and selfishness. I don’t know that America can recover from it in our lifetimes. Almost certainly not in mine.

I recently moved to Bellingham, WA, and pulled the 748 out for a ride. I started it up and my neighbor came rushing out his door because he KNEW the bike was a Ducati from the sound of the engine. Unique.
