As a young child, part of my job was not only changing the channel with the clunky ratcheting dials (the top one for the 4 VHF low number stations and lower for the 5 or 6 UHF higher number stations), but also to adjust the antenna with the foil flags wrapped on them for optimal reception.

That looks like a lovely selection. My biggest issue would be getting them all placed and into the ground. But when it's done and you can stand back and look at the results, it's a great feeling.
And that vehicle looks a lot like my Leaf, which would be very appropriate given the cargo. 😀

If it doesn't take a whole lot of effort, maybe show up for a short time, like 15-20 minutes, and bow out. The positivity she's shown to you makes a difference at least to me.

I hate all social stuff, especially work stuff, so I get it. But I also like to show up for folks that are pulling for me.

When I go to the doctor, which is almost every week, the nurse always asks if I’m feeling distress or anxiety. And always reply “no more so than usual these days”.

If I was to be truthful about the situation, the hospital social worker would call me to arrange an appointment with a psychiatrist.

Please explain to them what a “folder” is on a computer and how to store and find things there. I have colleagues in their 30s that don’t understand that concept. 🙄

Considering how he’s been dating 20 something year old women since forever, I guess that makes sense. 32? Maybe he’ll move up a decade, but I doubt it. There is only a couple year difference between my partner and myself but I swear sometimes people think she’s my daughter. Its embarrassing. 🙂

When I hear the military jets fly over my house, I think about the people that are being killed around the world by these very jets and how the sound must be incredibly triggering.

And yes, these days it’s almost like practice for the real raids that may be in the future the way things are going.

It’s seriously not an issue. Should be gently hosed out spring and fall. It makes a huge difference, the coils can transfer the heat way more effectively. There’s coil cleaner spray that you can get but just a hose is okay.
However, NO pressure washer, I’ve seen people bend all the fins. No good.
