Chowns, Ramsay vie for Green leadership Voting is underway to select the new leader(s) of the Green Party of England and Wales, with Ellie Chowns and Adrian Ramsay in the running against Zack Polanski.

The Guardian rates Mr Polanski as the favourite, but adds "....no one knows for sure”.

🎉 Fun times on Saturday at our inaugural meeting where we decided to offer the Duke of Rutland £1 to buy Moscar Moor off him, as it is in such a sad and sorry state.

👋 Do say hello if you’d like to get involved and help us reclaim our moors!

🥾 Visiting Moscar, a grouse moor bordering Sheffield owned by the Duke of Rutland.

🪶 People were angry at the sorry state of the land, due to it being managed for grouse shooting at the expense of all other life

💷 We’re offering the Duke £1 to take it off his hands as it is in such a poor state.

I asked my MP, Lee Barron, to at least pop in to this debate on grouse shooting in Westminster Hall on 30 June and got a very positive response very quickly.
