The issue is that a postulate is an article of faith just like beliefe in God. There can be no evidence for a postulate or it wouldn't be a postulate.

So many atheists desperately want to believe that their beliefs which cannot be proven are somehow different than a belief in God which cannot be proven.

If limit our beliefs solely to evidence, then there can be zero a priori facts. There can be little in the way of math.

Why hurt people who were just following the law?

If you don't like a law, change the law. Don't hurt people who followed the law, even if it was a bad law. This is the way to chaos.

I wrote a lot about the issue as a journalist. One case in particular, which ended up in federal court, I remember: The principal had set it up so the kid could use the faculty bathroom, which was unisex. Perfectly reasonable. But, as you say, noooo. It had to be the other student bathroom.

I recommend that Democrats move away from constant policy talk and talk about themes, and also forcibly break with the hard left on certain key issues, which are all goofy but make a difference to ordinary voters, e.g.: choosing your own pronouns and transgender kids choosing where to shower.

It's true that Biden was going senile and that he never should have run for a second term, but it was so much nicer not hear from the president for days on end.

You cite a statistic saying that 14 million Americans, many who could have signed up for subsidized insurance under Obamacare, have an average debt of $15,714, which they are under no obligation to repay, and which probably will not be liened in any court upon their death.

U.S. life expectancy is about 11 months lower than life expectancy in the United Kingdom.

Obamacare has helped millions of Americans obtain affordable healthcare and healthcare insurance for catastrophic events. It was a wonderul, conservative, pro-market reform.

And we don't have the burdensome healthcare queues which are common in single-payer nations.
