Finally, I introduce the new concept #ecologiesofconnection that is the core concept of my post-doctoral research that started October 2024, and which I am now developing in a first case in the city of Charleroi

Though this pattern has integrated many actors into the system it has also created ‘outsiders’ – new protest driven civil groups and radical challengers from the radical left and radical right.

I find that starting from very different organizational histories and types of connection to civil society, the two parties @vooruit-nu.bsky.social and Groen have converged on similar patterns of relationship to Flemish civic associations
