I finally got around to watching "Wings of Desire," a movie I first heard about on @johnfugelsang.bsky.social's show and it's pretty remarkable. It's not a film that can be described by naming any other.

I was glad to be in the house of the Lord and enjoyed being with so many joyful people. Our priest did not ignore the fear and hate of our current world, but encouraged us to see God's mercy in times of grief and danger.
