His K rate in AAA since being sent down is also concerning. I’m hopeful but I think the contract he signed works in the Red Sox favor if they were to try to shop him. Even if my idea was wishful thinking.

That’s a good point. I like Duran but if I’m being realistic he seems like their best trade chip. I wish he was having a ‘24 season rather than what he’s done this year. I wonder where they can move him considering he’s a win now type of guy. Maybe a one:one deal with another borderline contender.

Crews is absolutely a better defensive player but Campbell was really good his 1st month in the majors & was the minor league POY last year. Crews hasn’t hit at all in the bigs. I’m a Sox fan so I’m looking at it through that lense/I’m biased which is why I asked. It would solve their 1B & SP holes.

Lowe has no future with the Nats and Casas gives them more years of control, Campbell has just as much potential as Crews and I can’t really argue with the Duran-Gore aspect I guess.

Maybe that was my problem. Can I ask why you think so? Lowe has been lousy and Casas hurt. Campbell is locked up and was a disappointing top 10 prospect before being sent down and the same can be said for Crews, Gore and Duran have similar service times I believe.
