Really creative use of a flexible space classroom for a teaching workshop with new faculty. The concept of “sparkshops” with 15-min sessions in designated areas that are of interest to faculty. They could attend 3 in the time allotted. Excellent post lunch activity. #CFE #FacultyFoundations

Imo three things you can do in undergrad that will probably meaningfully improve your career chances (that aren’t highly contextual where the wind may shift and what’s happening to CS majors rn might happen):

-become statistically numerate

-learn another language

-learn to write well

Every single actual possible use case for AI in higher ed is a <complement> to the personnel- & time-intensive stuff, not a substitute. Until we can have honest, serious conversations about that, we're not going to get anywhere, & this destructive grift is going to keep corroding our entire sector.
