Just finished The Changeling Child by @hsnorup.bsky.social - the second outing for Saga and Alfred, to Faerie.
It's a beautiful sequel. The attention to detail is a delight, with key themes of friendship, nature, and preservation at the fore. BIG family revelations, too!
A fab read. 📚👍

A lichen-covered bench in Manaton, Devon.

There are over 18,000 types of lichen in existence. My personal favourite is ‘village bench lichen’, which devotes its entire existence selflessly to gradually making communal public seating more furry and comfortable.

I visited Linda’s Book Bag for a cosy chat about The Changeling Child. Mr Tumbleweed came along so obviously there were all sorts of cakes…

Last night, we celebrated the publication of The Changeling Child with a picnic (for two) by the river Rhine.
Reading in the water, swimming, watching the river flow and all the passing swimmers, ducks and dogs(!), while we toasted the book in Hugo spritz we’d brought in a thermos. It was PERFECT!
