05.09.2023 22:31 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The thing about development is you put the code you want 😂
05.09.2023 07:10 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0$0.30 is 150K tokens, that's a lot... Like 112K words approx... What did you feed it with? Or what did you ask it to generate?
How did you consume OpenAI api, an app already made or your own code? Conversation with memory?
Did you send repetitive calls, like a for loop for making many completions?
So you decided to join BLUE SKY [it's not twitter] #1 upload an avatar #2 set Moderation Settings (box showing moderation hand symbol) Moderation (arrow pointing to) Content Filtering
(arrow pointing to drawing of toggle) Toggle to enable Adult Content THEN choose Hide, Warn, or SHOW (star) tip: images are AI moderated so some slip thru & some G-rated images get tagged as "explicit", so "Warn" may be the bet choice atm #3 Go to SETTINGS (box with drawing of toggle) toggle require alt text on images (please ♥) (arrow points to) Home Feed Prefs (star) Use these settings to control seeing reposts & replies on your TL
#4 Go to My Feeds Go to "Discover New Feeds" to search for interesting feeds like "Only Posts" Click the "+" to add the feed (box) Go to the (gear icon) [edit my feeds] here you can pin and unpin feeds (side note) pinned feed will appear at the top of your TL Don't forget to "♥" the feed when you click on it to preview, this helps others find it!
Hey I made a quick welcome guide to BlueSky :)
There's tons more, but I think these few steps will get you up and enjoying it quickly.
You can use it for free, can't you?
01.09.2023 22:27 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0LLM like GPT3. 5/4 are bad at Math. That's understandable, they are Large Language Models, with an emphasis on Language...
But what they can do is write a Python function that will return the correct math answer (if you execute the python code).
Do they believe their content is superior and must be protected from the AI eyes? So lame. Openai doesn't need their content, there will always be grmood enough or better content available to train the models without them
01.09.2023 21:54 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That's very hipocritical from them though... I'm sure they are happily using OpenAI to generate content, and also publishing books that have been partly written with the help of ChatGPT /OpenAI
01.09.2023 21:52 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That's a lame move. Such lame Attempts at stopping the progress, that'd could otherwise be good for everyone, is simply disgusting!
Anyway I'm not surprised by publishers doing that
You can use
import langchain
langchain.debug = True
And you'll see everything that happens as well as token counts and costs I believe.
Are you using an Agent?
Thanks Valérie 👍, just leaving the link here as reference for others to find it faster

What is your machine?
Wondering, how do you do the button holes? Do you have a button holer attachement or is there a manual way (using a vintage sewing machine without attachement I mean)? Thanks in advance.
BTW, here's one of my 2 Singer 😉
The MK-90 ranges from $300 to 600.... It seems expensive to me right now... I'd love to have one though... (better if it's in box with user manual and all...)
01.09.2023 20:18 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Yes I know! Also great magazines!
Do you read Russian? (I don't, translating that was a pain of using Lens to scan and translate every single column 😂 and make sense of the translation)
That's a nice vitrine ! 😍 I have some of the calculators displayed there. 48S, Ti92, I believe Isee a Casio FX-7000GA too. The HP Voyager are likely (my guess) a 12 and a 15C?
01.09.2023 20:13 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0There's also a gem, the MK-90 portable BASIC computer! The screen is gigantic, and it's compatible with the PDP-11! I which I would find one (with a reasonable/cheap price)
elektronika.su/en/calculato...
I had no idea! Haha it's cute.
I'm happy with my vintage one though.
I usually prefer the original editions to new editions. Like the so called HP-15C Collector's Edition, WTF?!
Have a look at that. I never understood how to operate the eeprom either, the manual is badly translated. But I found a very interested article I ended up translating this year 👇. Enjoy (it's complex as F to be honest...)
How to use the EEPROM on the MK-52

Why not try Forth maybe, instead of RPN with Python or C?
Forth is like the programming language (it's actually more than that) for RPN lovers 💏
How do I get to learn Haskell, is there some awese tutorial put there? Thanks
01.09.2023 19:56 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0RPN for the win!
01.09.2023 19:55 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It sure does! I post a lot 😂 (not all of them on the picture)
01.09.2023 19:53 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Try to find an MK-52, it has permanent memory (with an onboard eeprom). Here's a picture of mine. It usually comes with the user manual and even schematics.
They sell it on Ebay from Ukraine 🇺🇦.
Latest acquisition for my collection: this HP-15C, top of the HP Voyager family, from USA 🇺🇸 1986, complete with user manual, leaflet and original box.
IMHO, this original edition is the only Collector Edition! 😍

Please add support for GIF a la Twitter, or at least support for GIFs from SwiftKey (Android here).
Never seen an app not supporting SwiftKey gif, how did you purposely do that? 😳
Ah now I get why I didn't received notifications, it wasn't even a feature yet 😂
25.08.2023 20:17 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don't know if you sent it, I just didn't see it either... That sucks
25.08.2023 03:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Also what's wrong WITH Bluesky's notifications? They're not working for me. I'm not receiving any 😭
Do the notifications work for you? I'm on Android, notifications are enabled of course (I've checked, and permission for the app are given)
