Yeah I feel if either keeper for West Ham was consistently starting I think they could be a solid option. Feels like there’s a bit of that this season. The first wildcard is gonna be huge

Yeah I feel the arsenal game will either be a massacre OR they will knock at the door really ineffectively for 90 minutes and you'll score on the counter. Dunno which is funnier but one of them has to have some comedy value

The closer we get to the season the worse the idea of not having Haaland feels. Cramming in him and Salah feels like making tougher choices across the pitch but I feel city are going to score lots and I couldn't tell you anyone else from their attack to get #fpl

I really like Kellerher, I know he is flagged right now. But I think the way Brentford play works for that sort of keeper well. I also know Brentford changed coach but as a club run the way they are I honestly don't think that changes style very much. If he is out then West Hams could be good

I think the two man midfield is going to be overrun no matter what. With Bruno in it he's not exactly the best fit defensively although can do a job. Without Bruno I don't think he will drop back enough to help? I get the feeling united will score more but also concede lots this season. Fun watches

One thing I cannot understand about #fpl is why the kits aren't all on the app on my phone but are on the website? Also why some that are on the iPad app aren't on the phone? Can someone please explain

His attacking output will suffer greatly. New boy Ait may be the best attacking defender at city going forward. While it’s always hard to predict Pep I feel if the signs are they both play together, Ait is the one to won.

In his LB games he achieved 3 goals and 27 shots. In his CB games he got 1 goal and 5 shots.

His last goal came in a game he was playing both and I’m not going deep enough to look at what position he was in at the time.

Essentially I feel if he starts the season, as suspected my many, as a CB

Obviously Gvardiol is known as a decent attacking threat for city. With the introduction of ait-nouri I feel that his attacking output will be minimised.

In his 37 games last season he played 22 as LB and 7 as CB. The other 8 he rotated between both positions.

In my current period of thinking about defenders - I know it’s boring.
On city - top two defenders for ownership are Ait-Nouri and Gvardiol. Reasoning for either is fairly obvious I won’t go into it.
One thing I did want to consider is how valuable Gvardiol really is from an attacking perspective

This has conjured a really runny mental image of watching any defender you own clear it and whooping and hollering every time. Every tackle will feel like an assist. Every interception a goal. What a sport

Defcon is new and shiny. It will boost some players but u really doubt that players like Anderson will outshine other mids because of it. I think it essentially makes it that if you are desperate for player one week you can field someone who will get 4 points instead of 2 and that’s it.

Yes less worry about “have to own that guy because everyone else does” but I also think it would increase the perception of must owns if content creators are talking about them.

He’s a fantasy pundit darling. I have no desire to get him and I assume a lot feel the same way. He’s not inspiring at all. I think if he’s in lots of the big content creators “final final I promise this is the last one” drafts he will rise in value

It feels like there is going to be some really good value somewhere at city but I can’t figure out where. Highest owned player is a defender. Semi differential haaland could be sneakily good. Then it’s a toss up for midfielders. One friendly Saturday to help us decide who to risk punting on #fpl

I think the last few seasons u have started with 2 4.0 defenders to try and focus money on the pitch. This year I currently only have 1 but having Hoever pop up more is tempting. I basically see them as bench fodder until the first wildcard. If I lose .1 I’m not particularly fussed.

I feel like I would rather have Roger’s at 7.0 if I was going villa. Just don’t know if I trust malen after trusting Bailey

It feels like he has very suddenly become the golden boy. I have seen some bits (no idea if reputable) that wolves might be trying to sign a new right back. Personally at 4.0 he might worth the risk
