Even with ears, BT means you can have the phone in your pocket and just talk and listen naturally. Looks as if you’re talking to yourself!

It is, because of all the DMR radios I’ve been playing with it’s the only one with built-in Bluetooth. Doubtless I’ve missed some! I’d not realised how much having Bluetooth made making phone calls so much easier!

Just updated the firmware and CPS for my #Anytone 878 V1. It was an update from 2020 to 2025, so I was surprised and pleased it seemed to go without any issues. Now able to use that radio with my #Bluetooth #NHS hearing aids. Promising, but 5 years of repeater/analog updates to be done!

Yes, but I suspect that the majority of customers won’t be writing their own code plug from scratch and hence seeing the issues. With the RT-4D it seems that only once combination of CPS, device firmware, and device DMR firmware is starting to be acceptable.

Not surprising to find that the firmware and programming software for the Radtel RT-880 and Radtel RT-4D has errors? Just what comes with low-cost hardware? #hamradio #Radtel #DMR.

I notice quite a few of what appear to be L-band (or higher) Yagis around town. Can’t imagine them being remote 2 GHz Wi-Fi, so if not, what else?
