CDC’s Division of HIV Prevention Could Face Reorganization or Elimination
Details remain murky, but advocates are trying to head off cuts that could set back progress toward ending the epidemic.
The Trump administration may be planning to eliminate or reorganize the CDC's Division of HIV Prevention, possibly as soon as this week, news sources reported Tuesday. Advocates are asking people to call or write to their legislators to urge them to oppose the cuts.
