Greenland has home rule and a lot of power in the danish government because they have 2 representatives in the parliment who are very often the deal breakers. They also like all others have free healthcare, education and social security.

50 years ago and it has been publicly acknowledged and compensation is following. And no they are not removing infrastructure - but the opposite actually. Per capita in Greenland they are recieving more than 20K $/year in support for schools, roads, hospitals and social support. But keep on.
