Judge blocks charity’s challenge over trans people’s use of Hampstead ponds single-sex facilities Judge says claim brought by Sex Matters should be made instead by individual who says they have faced discrimination

Also, yah boo sucks to Sex Matters and their mysterious bottomless pockets of their anonymous backers. You're weird! Nobody likes you! Go away and find a hobby that isn't picking on a marginalised community, and get some therapy while you're there. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/j...

I've just used Good Law Project's tool to email MPs on the Council of Europe and let them know they don’t have to bend down to Sex Matter’s transphobic threats.

Hebden Bridge Web Book News: August 2011 Independent community website centred around the businesses, writers, artists, musicians and quirky people of Hebden Bridge in the Yorkshire Pennines, UK

Is that when the shop moved to the current premises? Established in 1984, according to this share.google/bumaDRwmvikP... - and I have a clear memory of buying book tokens there Xmas 84 (heavily pregnant couldn't face any other form of shopping!) when it was round the corner. Congratulations to both!

Our street built of stone setts is very picturesque/olde worlde. Until there's black ice when it becomes lethal. Just placed an order for food delivery from local shop 🤞🙏 The abandon with which I used to glide along ice slides in the playground has vanished at 74! #hebdenbridge #blackice #stayingin

Autism is not a mental health condition in and of itself and ironically if we didn't have to fight to survive in a predominantly neurotypical world, most of us would not suffer with poor mental health at all!

Thank you for contacting us about the article you’ve seen.

We want our stores to be inclusive and welcoming places for our colleagues and customers. We have written to this customer and explained that our colleagues typically work across all departments in our stores and customers can always ask to speak to the colleague they feel most comfortable with.

We also explained that our colleague was asking a customer if they needed help; they were not working on bra fit or offering this.

Thank you again for getting in touch.

I wrote to M&S about the stupid lingerie department story - confirms nobody offered a bra fitting to a teenage girl. The Telegraph and JK can (always) do one.

Calderdale Council 'will play key role' in new wind farm plan Walshaw Moor in Calderdale could become home to 41 wind turbines should the plans be approved.

Placing England’s “largest windfarm” on a critically protected Site of Special Scientific Interest would be one of the most mindnumbingly stupid things the Government could do. West Yorkshire has tonnes of wind farms already. Other counties need to step up. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Sign the Petition Not in our name: Women in support of the trans+ community

More support very much welcome.

We have, so far, 36k+ signatures to our letter from women saying ‘Not in our name’ - in response to the horrific demonisation of trans people under the guise of “protecting women”.

Help us get to 100k by signing and/or sharing… 🩷

I’ve joined up with a determined group of women working to change the narrative around trans people. Women standing in solidarity with our trans siblings.

Our first step is to ask cis women to read and sign our open letter ⬇️

We're bringing a legal challenge to the EHRC’s ‘Interim Update’ A number of trans and intersex individuals have today begun a legal challenge to the EHRC’s ‘Interim Update’ following the For Women, Scotland decision

Along with a man and a woman who are trans, and someone who is intersex, we are suing the EHRC and the Equalities Minister in respect of the disgraceful and unlawful EHRC guidance.

In line with our transparency principles we are publishing the full 32 page legal letter. goodlaw.social/2ihj
