By demanding we withhold judgment even after watching comprehensive video documentation, you, just as much as the administration, are demanding we ignore the evidence of our own eyes. Shameful equivocation.

Were I still a more biblically minded person I might consider whether the storm were some kind of divine punishment for, I don't know, inhospitality or some other thing God punishes.

You're conflating capitalism and markets; markets can exist without capitalism and capitalism can (and does) exist without free markets. What defines capitalism is the control of decision-making by those who hold capital. It's the opposite of a "gimme to the Russian people" - it's theft from them.
