When it's been less than a week since the last WorldCon ended and the next WorldCon already has to make a statement of apology, it's not looking so good for the convention scene.

On occasion, he'll just buy me a book he's heard about because he doesn't think I spend enough money on myself. I'll get a text from him telling me to check my email, and there'll be an Amazon gift message with a link and the message "BUUK!" or something similar. Gives me the warm fuzzies. 🥰

Husband will make a point of calling me when he hears about a book on NPR that he thinks I'd like.
