I did enjoy seeing the plasticuffs getting kicked around like a game of keepaway.

So this is pretty upsetting to watch but the man did get go home which is amazing.

Basically they made these ICE goons so scared by simply standing around and yelling at them. The more people showed up, the more scared they seemed and the more mistakes they made. Eventually they gave up.

I just saw a de-arrest in Chicago and it left me shaking and the dude actually got to go home. It's all fuckin' horrible.

Personally I've had an account on Fediverse since 2017 and I've been active there since 2022.

It's a different place, it works a bit oddly and it has it's own set of problems, but for better or worse it seems like the place that will be hardest to kill.

The much vaunted "decentralization" of Bluesky is still only theory.

I've just today seen that people on Blacksky have been banned by Bluesky and they have no recourse at this point. This is something to keep that in mind when deciding next steps.

For my part, I consider Jay compromised and have for a while based on the VC investments shes taken on. I bet she's on some shitty groupchats too. Anyway, I guess I was right.
