-The Crow 1994 movie for all its gothy angst & style.
-Too many games to mention but A Highland Song stands out for being 2d and about Scottish nature.
-Legion because its production design's deliriously extra.
-Blue Eye Samurai because ep. 5 had gorgeous storytelling.

I see. I haven't played powered cube before so I was just comparing to the regular drafts I've been in.

That is a smooth looking mana curve though. I'll admit I'm not great at drafting but I feel like getting a nice curve in draft is challenging usually, especially picks for the low end. Were you lucky or does this cube just have a nice spread of good cards cost-wise?

You ever play Vandal Hearts? It's a lesser game than FFT in all the ways that matter, but came out just the year before and has some interesting combat ideas where positioning matters a lot.

Realms of the Haunting freaked me out so much I had to share controls with a friend. He did mouse and I took keyboard, then we'd kick open a door, run around a new section of the game to spawn all the monsters before doubling back, slamming the door shut and taking a deep breath before reentering.

I think about this in how the guy who ran MySpace sold his company and then traveled the world doing photography, while the guy who runs Facebook never let it go and has gone out of his way to destroy democracy in order to gain more power.

Do you mean with other people or when you're alone too? Cause if it's the first I do that all the time. Like I'll start to speak about my opinion before it's even formed and get there while talking. Wish I could just shut up, think, and then say something short and to the point, but no.

The character design from VS is also similar to FF12 in the weird mix of jumpsuits, shorts, miniskirts and corsets in a medieval flavor. Regardless of the canon nature of the connections, there are many design similarities. 2/2.

You know what never mind. I looked it up and found the references. The Ivalice references are defined as easter eggs and it wasn't made explicit till later by Matsuno, but still the references were there and I remember getting excited about them when playing so it feels pretty canon to me. 1/2.

Hehe, yeah I can't really say the shoirt look great, but they certainly made him stand out. But what do you mean about the retcon? I played it on launch and I seem to recall the Ivalice references being pretty explicit, yet minor.

this rocks. when indiana edu killed the student newspaper, Purdue stepped up, printed the forbidden issue, drove it to Bloomington and stocked the boxes.

I know it probably does nothing for its chances, considering FFT's place in video game cannon in comparison, but I would kill for a similar style of remaster for Vagrant story. Great potential for additions and tweaks to planned but never finished parts of the game too.
