Republican Rep’s Town Hall Goes Sideways as Voters Demand Impeachment Representative Doug LaMalfa went against his party leadership’s advice and held a town hall. It didn’t go as planned.

I didn't make it to the town hall with Rep Doug LaMalfa (CA-01) this morning in Chico, but The New Republic did! Sounds like my community did good and let him know that supporting fascism was going to get him yelled at.

A lot of the communities impacted by fire do not have good cell service; LaMalfa's smug comment that there are a lot of other sources of news is tone deaf.

I was there, the article was pretty spot on. One of the reasons the NPR/PBS cuts hurt our community so much is because they were there when we needed important evacuation notices because of fire. see next comment
