As long as people continue to speak with their dollars and reject the movies/games/music/books etc made by AI, we can stop it.

I really appreciate that. I want to believe most people will reject it, that seems to be the pattern, so far. I just am so disappointed in how many people are willing to discard thinking & growing for the easy route.

That's literally all AI is...."the easy way out". At the expense of artists, creators, and the environment.

Don't ask me what I would move into doing, instead. At this point, I'm open to suggestions. But wow, disheartening.

"But it makes me look like a Ghibli character!!", oh my bad, that's worth trashing the environment, using up resources, and stealing from actual artists, all for your instagram story.

Seeing cosplayers & photogs using AI to create backgrounds or just whole fake cosplays is really pushing me to research a different career. I've wanted to for a while, but I cannot find words to express how upsetting & frustrating it feels to see such selfishness and disregard for the harm it does.

This is not a game.
