Who was she? A French organist, pianist, composer, and music critic. Known for her "Contes fantastiques" piano pieces and as the first woman to found and edit a music journal in Paris. She wrote sometimes under "Richard Sincère" and made her mark despite her untimely death from cholera at 30.

It's incomprehensible that this composer has been ignored for so long. Juliette Dilon's Contes fantastiques de Hoffmann is a genius suite filled with poetic depth, thundering virtuosity and musical imagery. One of the sections is fantastically performed by Neuburger. @womencomposers @classicalmusic
