control is literally the character of all time. naive nepo baby who loves so deeply and tenderly. also he is socially awkward and is one-upped at every occasion. and he crushes my heart. i miss him.

i think authority by @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social might be one of my fav books of all time. a soul-crushing character arc of devastating proportions. also a spy office comedy. also whitby is there!!!!! it literally gets better every time i come back to it
