been playing some real "video-game" games lately
beat Contra: Galuga local co-op
now Shinobi: Art of Vengeance
want to check out Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Marvel: Cosmic Invasion, Streets of Rage 4, maybe Scott Pilgrim
these modern 2D arcade types friggin rock

lol more importantly I could probably finish making my game in that time

Totally forgot to put Silent Hill 2 remake in this list, though the length kind of killed it for me. Otherwise a unique experience

I played some absolute bangers this year which I had not yet previously played.

also also, if you play the PS4 version go into the settings and set aspect ratio to 4:3. The default 16:9 setting stretches all the pre-rendered backgrounds and makes them blurry, 4:3 does not stretch them and they are so damn pretty, huge world of difference

playing Onimusha for the first time ever. I can't believe I didn't play this as a teenager, 14 year old me would have been obsessed with this game. It's really good
