The Trophy character creation cards. They look and feel gorgeous. They were a little stiff to shuffle, but that’ll clear up over time.

The Drowned Monastery’s set map, crudely drawn by me and with a Trophy dice as a marker for their location. The weak spots are in white: 5 and 6, as Ser Gipp dived blindly into a fight and Sergio wasn’t prepared for multiple combatants. The dark dice are a 5 and 6, defeating the wet ghosts but at a cost of 1 Ruin for each of them.

It felt so good returning to Trophy Gold after so long away from it. I was playtesting an incursion I’ve been writing about a sunken distillery and playing with all the fun accessories. The first combat was a reminder of how things go, with weak spots of 5 and 6 immediately hit.

I wanted to share a few thoughts recent discussions around CGE’s decision to partner with JKR for their upcoming @codenamesgame.bsky.social game have prompted. Thankful to those who spoke early to this issue (Marceline, Tiffany, @nopunincluded.com et al) for helping this get the needed attention.
