Palantir mills (or attempts) blightsteel. Does the opp life loss include the mana value of BSC or no? Can the game use the revealed BSC to get Last Known Info for the Palantir ability? or no because does BSC doesnt leave library?

cut down, mastermind, cryptomancer, Throat, Edict, Gix in some builds, their fast and pain lands (Though getting a shock and i guess Starting town can be considered)

along with some good sideboard.

If it was a "look ahead" case like with replacement effects, The game would look ahead and NOT 'see' the counters on Kaito. So the ability wouldn't be active then.

Similar Reason to why he won't enter tapped (if cast without ninjutsu) due to an opposing authority of consuls.

riding along on this: I would be wary of foil Secret Lair cards in the deck. I worked deckchecks for a Clash for Cash CEDH event and gave turn skips almost exclusively for marked cards. Secret lair every time.
