October is Latin American Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the cultures, languages, and traditions that enrich our communities.

Canadians of Latin American descent have helped shape Canada in many ways. Let’s honour their contributions and the positive impact their heritage has on our society.

Great news! More than 5 million Canadians are now covered under the Canadian Dental Care Plan, giving them access to the dental care they need.

Here in Kitchener-Conestoga, over 18,000 approved applicants are benefiting from this plan — saving an average of $800 per year on dental expenses.

On #NationalSeniorsDay, let's celebrate the seniors in Kitchener-Conestoga and across Canada who have given so much.

They’ve raised families, founded businesses, taught us lessons, and so much more.

Today and every day let’s give them the love and support they deserve - they certainly deserve it!

Tonight, at sunset, Jewish communities in Canada, and around the world will observe the beginning of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

This holiest day in the Jewish calendar is a time to gather for fasting, prayer, and seeking forgiveness.
