A day of crafts at home, planning the future forest garden and - of course - LOTS OF EDITING TIME 🤩
I'm "only" 2.5 weeks ahead in my deadline planning (after being over 3 weeks the last few weeks), so time to regain conquered ground 💪😎✍️

Winter wonderland. The storm has passed for now. The inspiration to write is strong. I’m already well ahead of my goals in my deadline schedule for this spring. As a beginner in the writing profession, it feels good.

Welcome 2025 and a new year of writing.
Goal is to finish editing my debut novel ”En varg i lejonman (A wolf in lion mane)” before summer and then hope for the best 🤞
My best suporter when I’m writing. Our dog Ymer #dagensymer #alaskanmalamute He lays down at my feet and can lie there for hours while I write. Of course, it cost a piece of cheese, the leftovers of my sandwich or a dog treats, but that’s the way it is.
Few days left of 2024. Am enjoying every hour.
The xmas feeling around me is filled with lovely eye sight and the scent of cinnamon, ginger, cloves and orange.
I needed this rest. A break in the hectic hours of everyday life. Next week 2025 begins and then I will finish writing my first novel.

The golden hour of my writing life is the hour of dawn. As the sun rises, dark silhouettes emerge from cold shadows.
The moment before the gray appears in color, a silence between two breaths, the world stands still.
Then the sun make everything lined with golden streaks of light and life. And hope.

Christmas books. December is the biggest reading month for me. Between the hours of editing, I love to curl up on the sofa with a book in one hand and a large cup of tea in the other.

For a long time I’ve wondered why the editing of my debut novel is so slow. As a newbie, I'm not used to all the strange feelings that comes in the wake of editing. The answer hit me this morning - I'm soon to be finished. Oh dear. Never thought I would come this far.

Editing Work is progressing. Decided a few weeks ago to change from past to present tense. Realized the rookie mistake years ago but couldn't bring myself to change. I’ve learned my lesson
