Reports that the upcoming Angoulême Fest is canceled. The autocratic president Franck Bondoux, & his equally disliked daughter, legally "own" the fest & agreed to step aside... but not just yet. This is unacceptable to publishers & authors, who are boycotting. This year's fest is dead. Sad.

This race had a "Dewey defeats Truman" moment when Election Desk HQ prematurely called the race for Mayor Bruce Harrell. One Reddit user made a parody.
