I think that for the most part, when leftists criticize dems, it’s to help them win, not make them lose. Yes there will always be loyal assholes, but I constantly see leftists celebrating when dems win a seat or local elections go well.

I follow dozens of leftist accounts and have not seen this talked about in years. It is in no way conventional wisdom on the left. Frankly, most have moved on.
