I am not about to give up the bike lanes advocacy. Many of us do want walkable, bikeable city. No more penny from me to merchants on Bloor/Royal York.

I bough apples at the farmers market along the way and they came home all bruised. Such are joys of Toronto. We take what we can.

According to city figures, bike counts at many Bloor intersections more than doubled after the city installed safe infrastructure during the last few years.

I took this new Brompton G line for a ride today. It felt great. I am wondering if I should get it. I also test ridden C Line and since it was my first ride on a Brompton it felt a bit like a kid bike at least initially. I do want a foldable and a solid option. Should I join the lively cult?

Bicycles are the future for cities. Why is it so hard to understand? Consider: space, environmental impact, health benefits, social benefits and ease of use. All we need is Safe Infrastructure.

We need more bikeable walkable neighbourhoods not less. Etobicoke Bloor could be such a beautiful space Letβs not let the outsiders driving through the neighbourhood dictate what we want. Spend some time in bike friendly neighbourhoods to learn.

Stopped at St. Lawrence Market yesterday. What a great urban planning in this whole area. I also remembered that Janeβ Walk is coming soon. I encourage Etobicoke residents so opposed to urban progress to enlighten themselves about walkable city many of us desire.

Moreover you see nothing wrong in endangering cyclists forced to merge with intolerant, antagonistic drivers on the road.
