In high school, I was complaining about how long the school day was and my teacher turned to me and said, "the days are long, but the years are short" and I was like "what the fuck are you talking about you lunatic" and then the bell rang and now I'm in my 30s.

I watched the entire 8.5 hr stream of the last show earlier this month. Very emotional seeing him on his throne. I knew he wasn't long for this world. I think I subconsciously started the grieving process then.

My bruise from falling over headbanging at home had finally just faded last Tuesday 😅🤘

I was at work when I read the news last Tuesday. In denial at first, but then I felt frozen in place. I tried to keep my chin up. Ozzy lived so much longer than anyone (including himself, I'm sure) even guessed he would. Helluva damn ride, too. 🤘 Thankful he wasn't taken "too soon" like many others.

I still have the t-shirt from that 2008 tour. I never throw away my tour shirts.

Sharon's a bit polarizing, but seeing her, Jack, Kelly, Aimee & the Osbourne kin in such an emotional state really shook me to my core.

The world has truly lost a legend.

I feel so lucky to have been able to see him on tour, just once. In Portland!!! I remember the show had to be postponed. But then, how serendipitous that the new date was so much closer to my 18th birthday. He may not have been at his peak (dad said he sounded like shit) but that was my Ozzy!!!

When I was around 12/13 I had red streaks dyed into my hair. I was newly into my (everlasting) edgy/goth phase. The Osbournes was a reality TV hit. I figured it looked cool on Ozzy, so why not try it for myself? His style inspires me so much, even to this day.

Ozzy's been such a huge part of who I've been and who I am now.

Iron Man was my first favorite song EVER. I was into pop pretty heavily until I was about 11, but hearing those first few chords would light me up... I was predestined to be into rock & metal (still love my fair share of pop tho)

I was devastated when I heard Ozzy passed last week... but seeing bits of his funeral procession today somehow feels even worse. I'm not good w processing loss.

It's REALLY real now. It's finally sinking in. This feels like losing an extended family member. A favorite uncle or something like that.
