I don’t do a ton of drawing based on comics these days, but the #Pouchtober list is ALWAYS a guaranteed blast to take a crack at! I’m behind obviously(you know, because LIFE), but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to do an Allen the Alien and a Crossbones.

Classic twofer: Both a show poster for the incomparable Devon Kay and the Solutions / Tiny Stills / Suzie True, but ALSO a submission for the Drawtober prompt: Toad Astrologer. Knocking down two illustration birds with one stone.

I'm doing this year's Drawtober challenge again, but with a lil Sword and Sorcery bend to the challenge.

I don't wanna be hyperbolic, but having been to innumerable punk shows over the years, Disfear playing a pizza place in West Philadelphia in the early 00's was an absolutely life changing, top-tier level of energy and ferocity. Gutted to see today's news.

As someone who grew up in and around Philly, I once heard folks from here described as 'Your nice friend from the midwest, who also knows how to fight and will, at the drop of a hat.' And nothing I've ever seen has seemed more accurate.

May we all find an outlet that brings us the amount of joy that James Acaster found when losing his GD mind at some of the decisions in that series.

I was super late to the party on finally listening to the Hated, and, once I did felt like I had missed out on something that would have been a keystone of my musical taste. The speed with which I snapped this up was staggering :)

This is SUCH a cool idea for an assignment! Working in the vis arts program at a university, I sometimes see the disconnect with students wanting to do OC's and how to apply them in real world situations...this absolutely bridges that gap!
