My favourite accounts that I follow are "normal" people; I like seeing "mundane" stuff. Yes the writing and art-making but also the cat-adopting, the dog-walking, the food-cooking, the beer-drinking, the trips and holidays, the telly- and film-watching... Feels like a little community, somehow.

Enjoyed Ed and Tim commentating on the skiing and snowboarding. And Rob Walker absolutely losing it when Klaebo of Norway won his 6th gold medal.

Missing the Winter Olympics now they're done (but for the Closing Ceremony). I've never watched them as keenly before, but the friendly time zone, half term, and dreadful weather (here in the UK at least) made them absolutely irresistible.

I bet half the responders to this clutch their pearls at we Brits and our beans on toast. 🙄

*Don't know if they've stopped making/importing it; I used to get mine from Superdrug but never see it now and am on my ladt precious bottle. There'll be similar products though.

Some sort of nail treatment? I use Sally Hansen Repair and Rescue*. Just as is, or with a shiny top coat. And massaging a nail oil into nails and cuticles, eg while watching TV, helps. I used to have a lavendery one that I liked, but now just use a castor oil that I originally bought for my hair.

I'm not particularly fussed about crisps but if you are and have a Lidl nearby, their Honey and Sriracha ones are quite nice.

Smells so different on different people. Was my late mum's favourite, so will ever remind me of her.
