BARBARIAN of HEROQUEST game. It took me a while to decide to paint this Barbarian as I find painting skin challenging! I took my time and tried to exaggerate highlights and shadows to get better definition. Still much to learn but happy with it!

DREAD WARRIORS of HEROQUEST game. Of all the adversaries in the game, those where the ones I was the most eager to paint. I just love their armor and stance. They are also very tough to beat in the dungeon!

WIZARD from HEROQUEST game. This was one of my favorite mini to paint of the entire Game System box! I enjoyed using those bright colors and I’m so happy with the cape! Tried to do a suede/velvet fabric effect. I’m happy with it, but still much to learn!

ELF from HEROQUEST game. I painted this mini a few months ago and I was very happy with the cape, fabric, leather and vials. But I really struggled with skin, face and metals! Still a long wait to go on the learning curve!

Dread Sorcerer from dungeon crawler HEROQUEST game. Painted this last fall and tried some new techniques for me, such as edge highlight, different washes and layering. Looking back at it, I would have done it a little differently. Learning and progressing! 😄
