So we had a tank next to our playground in my hometown growing up that was more fun than the playground equipment, but they didn't attach a slide to it...

Definitely did a double take because I thought I saw this said "The Seven Last Words *of* Karl Rahner"...

Have you ever seen Johnny Cash's "Gospel Road: A Story of Jesus"? A colleague got it for me years ago. It was interesting and sorta fits this vibe if I recall.

I also felt at the last minute that a flat token that says "Tarrasque" wasn't good enough and whipped up a foam board miniature, which I think captures the raw power and terror of this titanic beast.

Last night at D&D, I threw a "Tarrasque" at the party. Widely viewed as the most fearsome foe in the game, the players handled it well, using a variety of skills to defeat it and avoid being (sucessfully) eaten.

Same. They were right. Us millennials WOULD change the world.

Once a classmate said that people praying Latin prayers/mass just made less errors than vernacular prayer, and our polyglot Latin prof who also is a priest charitably found a way to explain that as many mistakes or more are made in Latin, but very few people can catch them.

So I'm just saying, that Pope Leo XIV's brother in Chicago seems like a stand-up guy in all these short interviews, and he'd make an excellent Emperor of the Western Roman Empire if the Pope has an extra crown lying around by Xmas.
