Oh the other thing they said (why do I # threads?I should know by now I’m not done talking)was that the therapist could still be liable for the breach because we chose to use the tools, but the EHR is protected because they’re following the BAA. So it makes them hiding this info from us extra awful.

So I called my malpractice insurance on Friday to get their recommendations for AI clinical tools and they unequivocally told me NOT to use any because HIPAA BAAs don’t cover AI as of yet so technically there’s no guarantee these tools have any kind of security. Would be cool if the EHRs pushing 1/
