That dude doesn't have faith; he's just upset that he doesn't have a higher-power rationalization for his prejudice, hate, and cruelty.

Just bc I know what's wrong with me doesn't mean I have the tools to fix it, and just bc I have some tools doesn't mean they're the right ones or all the ones I need. Also, the issue with being highly self-aware is that paradoxically, you don't know what's in your blind spots. Highly is not 100%.

I will say this about being thrown under the bus: the view fucking sucks, but at least you get a good look at how the machinery works.

Black men and women, REGULARLY go get checked and argue doctors DOWN. Get second, third and fourth opinions. You know your body.

This is a great introduction into how vulnerable we all are to tracking. If your phone is on and has signal, you are vulnerable. If yours is off, but someone who is known to be close to you - family, friends, colleagues, etc. - has their phone on, you are vulnerable to being tracked.

A part of trauma recovery that I, & lots of other survivors, resist accepting is the fact that many of our past choices weren't actual "choices"-- that we were limited in what we could see & realistically do by our conditioning & programming.

We don't love feeling powerless.

Nobody is nonchalant about the people they love.

When they acknowledge that I'm too much AND that they love me because of it... Those are my people.
