The Strong Start Program through OSSE has done wonders for my younger one. The Program Coordinator and specialists he sees have been absolutely fantastic. DCPS is keeping the ball rolling smoothly as he transitions to PreK-3 next year.

Oh. And I’ve always had a pleasant experience with the DMV. Getting my car inspected every other year takes about 5 minutes. Switching my license to DC 10+ years ago was painless.

In my experience:

1. The rat abatement/dead animal collection team are quick

2. The unemployment office and staff were helpful and empathetic and the money gets paid out

3. 99.99% of the time the trash gets picked up on time

4. Building inspector worked with me to get my permit issue resolved
