This was a challenging piece and I reworked the pose several times, but I'm glad I stuck with it! The marionette will transform into something that is controlled by the final boss: The Puppet Master (concept TBD).

This 100%. When I attended art school, there weren't many online courses/resources that focused on foundational skills for concept art. In this day and age, I'd recommend more affordable alternatives like Underpaint Academy to intermediate students after they've built their fundamentals.
