This is due to lack of Government funding - not the BBC
It started when the Tories insisted that World Service be funded from the licence fee ( which it never had been). That resulted in massive cuts & the removal of free TV licences for over 60s & a bunch of other cost savings

I don't think so, Enfield isn't particularly known for having a big Jewish community, unlike Golders Green or Stamford Hill

She's not a person who talks about that sort of stuff, never had been.
I've always found her very distant . As a child I was nearly taken into care, because she didn't want to look after me ( I know this from my Grandmother, who did)
Not sure she comprehends what the problem is with any of this.

Everyday tequila is Jimador Reposado, or Olmeca
I also have an unopened bottle of Ocho 8 in the cupboard...
There are some amazing ones that I can't afford

Well I'm glad to hear that!
I've been trying to understand a lot of things lately. I think my Mum has dementia now, and she's never been easy to interact with even before this
I feel like I don't understand anything anymore π€·ββοΈ

I don't have a valentine to discuss with, but if I did, I hope it would be about music & which tequila is best in a Paloma!

So, I've not done a proper review, but what immediately strikes me is 'its busy'
There's a lot going on, and annoying though it may be, we are used to simplicity
I'm really not trying to denigrate the overall idea

There's quite a few detailed podcasts about this. He had a huge, lucrative network he leveraged in any way that got him more influence & access
