Remember record shops? When music was 1000x more of a hassle to access than it is today?

People don’t remember old Mortal Kombat and that’s a big reason for why the Legacy Kollection is being poorly received

For example, I’d been told for AGES that the SNES version of Mortal Kombat was the worst version to play. The reality is it’s actually the snappiest and most responsive version

Mortal Kombat didn’t start being a legitimately decent fighting game franchise until MK9 lol

The reception towards the Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection is funny to see because there are some legitimate issues with the collection

But also a lot of the criticism feels like it’s from people who weren’t aware that old Mortal Kombat in general is just straight up functionally bad

Make shorter games with worse graphics and fewer shareholders
