Formerly CJ, Shadax, or Chimera_Brain elsewhere online. I post a lot of old PlayStation games with some leftist nonsense. Usually nice.

11.12.2025 22:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Itβs a lightly moistened kitchen sponge, which isβ¦ not a new idea. Itβs a good video and I donβt begrudge anyone trying to make a living off of YouTube for having to do this, but itβs a very unfortunate thumbnail.

There is an arrow pointing toward this object and it says βDRYBRUSH SAVIOR.β However, the object is a mess of pink and magenta pixels that looks like a hastily censored vagina.
Very excited to see how a (squinting) giant vulva will be my dry brushing savior

11.12.2025 06:27 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Iβve been goofing around with this off and on for a few weeks now and I just want to say that treating a text editor like a modular synth is an incredible idea and it should be a crime that Paul is not a state-recognized polymath receiving a one million dollar annual stipend payable until death.

10.12.2025 19:38 β π 18 π 10 π¬ 3 π 2I love it because itβs very clear someone just wanted to make a little standalone ghost story using as few new assets as possible but it caused a quarter century of people trying to tie it into a purposefully unknowable canon

26.09.2023 15:05 β π 79 π 12 π¬ 3 π 0While fact checking myself I did learn that Sudden Impact did eventually show up on record and video for a small part in East Coast Familyβs β1-4-All-4-1β where they had been rebranded with the extremely unfortunate name of Whytgiyze.
10.12.2025 16:59 β π 17 π 4 π¬ 4 π 0I spend so much time thinking about this videoβs brief cameo by Sudden Impact, a boy band that shared a manager with Boyz II Men whose sole creative output was showing up fresh out of chess club with dress shirts and stupid Flintstones-ass ties to point at the camera, never to be heard of again.
10.12.2025 16:53 β π 18 π 7 π¬ 3 π 1Nothing to apologize for! Even that 486/33 had a 2x CD drive. Itβs just that we didnβt really have another method of giving each other files without an internet connection until CD burners became common and I want to say I got my first one of those in late 2001.

The paints I used, which are unsurprisingly earthy greens, yellows, and browns with some pale blues and off white for mixing. I also used a green and sepia wash.
Painted my first miniature in a minute or so. One skeleton guy, extra goopy. I also had a fairly limited palette that I kept myself to, which was a lot of fun.

10.12.2025 15:38 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0While we did not have a lot of money growing up, between a computer geek grandfather and my mother spending most of my childhood in some sort of university, I always had a shitty hand me down computer in my room. 10.12.2025 15:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0At that point it was the colloquial name for 3.5 inch high capacity discs, but yes. I used them to move things between computers with Internet and my bedroom computer (which wisely did not have Internet) well after CD burners became available and even turned in papers I college with them in 2005.
