Formerly CJ, Shadax, or Chimera_Brain elsewhere online. I post a lot of adequately painted miniatures, old PlayStation games, and some leftist nonsense. Usually nice.

A small, painted, frog miniature. The green frog is stood biped-like next on the edge of a grassy bank next to some water and a small rock. The frog is wearing a blue wizard hat with a yellow start on it. They're also wearing a yellow raincoat and carrying a stick that comes up to their chin. They look quite content.

A shot of the frog wizard from the back, showing off more of their raincoat and the flattened grass around them. You can see more of their blue hat.

Not finished painting anything for a while, so here's a little frog wizard in a rain coat.

I forgot how annoyed Snake looks during Ocelotโ€™s entire Wild West show, just thinking about how he canโ€™t wait to shoot this form with 20-30 tranquilizer darts the entire time like a father checking football scores on his phone during a childโ€™s dance recital

Pretty much all Wargames Atlantic kits are fairly interchangeable when it comes to kitbashing, though the Death Fields and Classic Fantasy lines have proportions more in line with heroic scale minis. I am also subbed to their digital line and you can get extremely silly with the combinations.

I have a 3D printer and donโ€™t actually play any games with my minis so itโ€™s borderline irresponsible to buy plastic kits, but I still get some historicals every now and then because itโ€™s such a joy to put them together compared to resin. Itโ€™s amazing how fun it can be when things just work.

From what I understand about hobby paints in the eighties I admire the sheer obstinance on display for slapping it against plain metal until it stuck in the first place

I exploited the weird online component of the 3DS version to find a forest of infinite slimes that granted a bunch of job experience to have everyone on a third tier job within an afternoon of unlocking the Abbey, yet it still did not make a meaningful difference on the grind

God, I am still so mad at that game because I refused to use this piece of shit and guess who has a mandatory boss fight right after the end game point of no return!

Dragon Quest XI also does this but is at least nice enough to call the natural stopping point the end of the game, so the back half with very few new assets is technically the post game (and you can put it in 2d mode for the chunks without a ton of story for a new perspective)

To be fair, Iโ€™m assuming you got to the part where it feels like the game SHOULD end from a narrative and design point yet it turns out to be the halfway point

I loved the 25% of Tokyo Xanadu that consisted of brisk Falcom action, I just could not make it through the 75% that was extremely tedious Samโ€™s Choice Persona cutscenes.

I canโ€™t speak for Sparking! Zero (never played it and not super interested) but I consider his swap in DBFZ to be neutral, Goku Unit-wise. There is still one Goku body and one Goku soul on the field, they just got a little mixed up.

I updated my methodology and found that despite having almost four times the amount of Goku, Sparking! Zero actually features significantly less Goku Density than Dragon Ball FighterZ, where one out of every four characters has some amount of Goku in them.

Also I want to apologize and point out that by my methodology, Raditz should count as 1 whole Goku Unit, bumping Sparking! Zeroโ€™s Goku Density to 17.97%

Please note that I have not included Kid Buu or Cell in these calculations, but each iteration of those would add some fraction of a percent to the total Goku Density while not really moving the needle on total Goku Units
