I’m an outliner too and for me, the discovery is in how I’m going to write that next sentence, what telling detail will be used to conjure an image or stoke a feeling.

My son was born on October 26, 2024. As of now, he has my wife’s dark blonde hair and bluish-green eyes. When I hold him and look at him, the ugliness in the world melts away for a time and I’m filled with a love I haven’t experienced before and can’t quite put into words.
